Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491)

  • Points based skilled visa valid for five years with pathway to PR subclass 191 visa
  • State nominate stream
    • To satisfy state or territory government’s residence and employment requirements, if any
    • Must be residing in a designated regional area
    • Be invited by RDA to apply
  • Sponsored family stream
    • To be sponsored by eligible family members
    • Family member must reside in a designated regional area

Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

  • Points based permanent visa
  • Must have a minimum of 65 points
  • Be invited to apply

Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)

  • Points based permanent visa
  • Must have a minimum of 65 points including 5 points from state nomination
  • Must satisfy state or territory government’s residence and employment requirements, if any
  • Be invited to apply
