Skilled Recognised Graduate Subclass 476 Visas

The Skilled – Recognised Graduate subclass 476 visa is a 18month work visa for recent engineering graduates. You may also study on this visa.

Age

The main applicant must be under 31 at the time of visa lodgement.

English Language Proficiency:

You must provide evidence of your English language ability at time of lodgement. IELTS (Academic or General Training) with overall average of 6 and at least 5 in each band or any other equivalent English Tests unless you are a passport holder from certain exempt countries.

Qualifications

You must have completed an engineering course for which you were awarded a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in the last 2 years.

This qualification must have been Completed at an institution which offers courses accredited through the Washington Accord, or an institution specified by Immigration.

Family Members

You can include your spouse/ defacto partners and dependent children with your application.

Location

You may be able to submit an application while in Australia but must depart Australia for visa grant.

Health & Character

You must meet Health and character requirements.

Insurance

You must maintain health insurance on a skilled recognised graduate visa.
